We have been busy!!! First off, we finished our required hours for school on May 20th!!! YAY...I was just as happy as the boys to be finished. We have been rehearsing for the play Excalibur since early April and are now almost to performance time. I am really proud of Anthony. He is co-stage manager and doing an awesome job. He is learning a lot!! Jacob and Michael are Dryads (tree spirits). Jacob has given me fits with his costume. I make all this cool stuff and he doesn't want to wear it. This from the kid who says he wants to keep doing it because someday he wants to have a main part!!! He is really going to have to learn to tolerate the costumes before that can happen.
We had field day with our BHLC co-op in Lexington. We have some good friends there but I am not sure we will be able to go back. They are moving the location and it will be harder for us to get there from the shop. Mr. Ed isn't teaching guitar next fall so Anthony isn't very worried about not going. The other two will probably give me a hard time about it.
After the play this weekend we are going to start doing a little summer math and reading to stay where we are and not loose any ground for the fall. I know the boys won't be happy about it but it must be done!
I still haven't gotten all of our curriculum for next year worked out but what I do have I feel good about.
We are also trying to plan another trip for the fall. We keep going back and forth between what we want to do and what we actually can fit into a few weeks!! As of right now I think we will be heading for Maine.
I have pictures but alas they are at home and I am at the shop. When I am home I seem to have to much to do and never get on to blog. Maybe I will get a few pictures on tonight when we get home from play practice. First performance is tomorrow!!!

Took a hike with Diesel today.
I love big twisting trees!!
More twisty trees....roots this time.
Jacob, Michael and I took Diesel on a hiking trail of Elkhorn Creek. The trail had grown up a bit since we were there about a month ago. It was very windy and a little bit chilly but it was beautiful. The creek was still a little swollen from all the rain and we could see where it had come up on the bank. Diesel really seemed to enjoy himself, he even sniffed out a garter snake on the trail. Jacob saw the snake and just had to catch it. We will have to find more trails that we can take the dog with us :)
