impromptu trip

Took a last minute trip to West Virginia. Saw lots of family. We went to see a non working hospital. It was called 'Trans-Alleghney Lunatic Asylum. It was constructed between 1858 and 1881. It is the largest hand cut blue sand stone stucture in North America.

It was a very cool place to visit. It is still in quite a bit of disrepair but still worth the trip.

Learning to Blog

This is my first blog. I am still figuring everything out. I have three boys, Anthony 11, Jacob 9, and Michael is 9 as well. I homeschooled Jacob for the 07-08 year and starting in the fall (most likely sooner) I will be homeschooling all three. We have decided to take a big trip as a family this fall and use it as a learning experience. We will be traveling almost 5000 miles through the united states. We will be gone 17 days. We are all very excited about the things we will see. A friend suggested that we somehow let them know where we are and what we are doing so I thought a blog would be a great way to do that. We will be taking a short trip to Toledo Ohio this summer and I may try to blog that to see how it is going to work.

Thanks for reading!!!!
