Last February a nice man at the reptile show gave Jacob 3 dart frog eggs to use for a school project. Only one hatched but he kept growing and became a beautiful yellow striped dart frog. Jacob named him Nigel after Nigel Marvin.
Fast forward to this morning.....I woke up and found him dead. He hadn't been eating very well the last few weeks. Not sure what caused it. Jacob was quite upset. We buried him in the landscaping close to where we buried Michael's Ball Python several years ago.

We're so sorry about Nigel. It is always such a hard thing to lose a pet.
How cool for him that he was loved & got to live his life with such a sweet family. Hope to see you all soon.

Thank you Holly, Nigel had a rock in his cage. I took it out and washed it because Jake wanted it. I noticed tonight that he has it under his pillow :(
