Glacier

We spent a day and a half at Glacier National Park.  A couple of days before we were to arrive here we thought we might have to change our plans.  They were having a pretty extensive wildfire.  But we decided to just keep to our plans and see what happened.  Luckily it rained and most of the fires were out by the time we got there. The motel were we stayed was not my favorite.  The bed was REALLY hard.  The park was amazing though.  We drove the Going to the Sun Road across the park.  There were some pretty amazing views.  Didn't see any long horn sheep or mountain goats.  We did see a black bear but couldn't stop to take a picture.  Then we saw what we thought was a grizzly bear.  It was a really long way away, which is really how you should view a bear in the wild.  I took pictures but they are low quality because he was so far away.  I did crop them so you can see the grizzly hump above his shoulders.

We went to an evening ranger program about eagles and found a really pretty lake.  We also took the opportunity to wash all of our dirty clothes...we pretty much had to because we put on the last of the clean ones that morning!
