Last week we went to a presentation given by Bill Meck. He is the weatherman for WLEX a Lexington local news station. He was wonderful!!! He kept the kids very entertained, most of the adults as well :) Before he arrived the kids put names on nametags for themselves. Anthony put "Awesome Kid" on his. When Mr. Meck asked him what his name was he told him "Awesome Kid!" Have I mentioned Anthony's since of humor lately? Well, I actually like it. He is becoming his father though, it's mostly David's since of humor. Anthony just needs to learn when to stop being funny because right now he doesn't stop and just becomes real annoying.
Well after the non stop joking from Anthony, Mr. Meck called him up for the '"tornado" demonstration. Basically he put Anthony in a swivel chair and spun him around and around. All the kids got to do a demonstration and then were given magnets with Mr. Meck's picture.
The kids had a great time. I even learned a few things I didn't know. Who says homeschooling is only for the kids :)
