Rocky Balboa

We packed in a lot of fun today. First we went on a Duck tour of Philly. If you don't know what a "duck" tour is, well its part bus, part boat. Our driver was wonderful, very animated and funny. We got to ride on the Delaware River in our 'duck'.

We also saw the Liberty Bell and got the books for the Junior Ranger program. A very small little girl there was concerned because the bell was cracked :) Little piece of history. Did you know that the bell cracked the first time it was rung? Oh and it wasn't made in the United States, it was made in England. After the first crack it was melted down and recast here in America by John Pass and John Stow.

Around 3:30 we drove over to the Franklin Institute to meet the Wojciks. They are some of our oldest friends. Paul and David were in each others weddings! We haven't seen them for two years!! Harry was just a little baby, he is a "big" boy now.

We got philly cheese steaks for dinner then walked to the Philly Art Museum to see the Rocky Balboa statue. To cool!!!!

Now we are getting ready for bed. Going to see Independence Hall tomorrow.
