Today the kids from our county went back to school so we decided to take the day off. Last year on the first day of school for everyone else I took Jacob to IHOP and we decided then that it should become a tradition! So today we all went to IHOP to celebrate NOT going back to school :)

excellent plan. We used to walk to the bus stop in our jammies, then go back to to bed. Now that the girls are older they won't go out in jammies anymore.
I love it -- we always celebrate "not back to school day" at our house every year, too!
